This beautiful ceramic plate from the brush of the craftsman Mr. Turan features motifs of Hittite civilization garnished with small drawings of Hittite deer drawn with a unique technique. Intended for decorative use, the product was signed by its craftsman.
The deer symbol had a very important place in Hittite civilization. The representation of deer on works of art and objects of worship; is frequent and represents identity with the Mother Goddess.
The plate can be fixed vertically on a shelf with the accessory supplied.
